Trim is used to cover the framing elements, such as the rims of the deck, sides of the stairs, maybe the beam underneath, and the supporting posts. Your quote will include prices for all the various trim and color options.
Accent Pieces can be used on corners and seams, to hide expansion and contraction of PVC products.
The beams and posts can receive trim treatment also. Color selection may be more limited when using aluminum products for the posts.
Most of the time, the color of the border would follow through to the fascia. Using white is an exception to that rule.
